Tri Area Community Health Welcomes New Providers

Welcome Jacquelyn Hinkley, FNP-C and Janessa Schoolfield, FNP-C

Jacquelyn Hinkley, FNP-C will be seeing patients at the Laurel Fork Clinic.

Jacquelyn was born and raised in Carroll County. She has been a nurse for 11 years and a Nurse Practitioner for 2 years. Throughout her healthcare career she has worked in med/surg, Gastroenterology, and primary care. She attended Wytheville Community College for her RN, and completed her BSN, MSN and NP at Walden University. She is very passionate about taking care of people and feels it is her calling. She commented “I am excited to join the Tri Area family and serve the community!”

Jacquelyn is looking forward to serving the local community as part of the Tri-Area Community Health provider team. She will be seeing patients at the Laurel Fork location and appointments can be scheduled a by calling 276-398-2292.

Janessa Schoolfield, FNP-C joins the Floyd and Laurel Fork Clinics.

Janessa earned her Master of Science in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Radford University in 2023 and has worked in various nursing roles, including most recently home health, inpatient nursing, and long-term care. She began her nursing journey in 2013 as a Licensed Practical Nurse from New River Community College. Next, she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2016 from New River Community College and then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 2020.

She will be seeing patients at the Laurel Fork location on Tuesdays and Thursdays and appointments can be scheduled a by calling 276-398-2292. Appointments with Janessa in Floyd on Monday, Wednesday and Friday may be made by calling 540-745-9290.
