Full-time LPN opening at Tri-Area Community Health in Floyd. Medical office experience and experience with EMR a plus. Qualified Candidate must be self-confident, a fast learner with active listening, and strong communication skills. Candidate must be willing to work as a team member of a multidisciplinary team. Current Virginia nursing license required.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Floyd, VA
Tri-Area Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center with locations in Carroll, Floyd, Franklin, Grayson, and Patrick Counties and Galax City. We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with CAQ-Psychiatry credentials for our Floyd Clinic. This person will be the organization’s primary medical provider in our growing substance use disorder treatment program, including an expectation to be the prescriber for patients participating in Medication-Assisted Treatment. This person also will assist in leading organizational advocacy efforts for patients seeking supportive substance use treatment. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively with medical and behavioral health providers and other healthcare professionals within an integrated primary care setting. In addition to spending most of the time seeing patients in person in Floyd, the position will include providing tele-psychiatry services to patients at other Tri-Area locations. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our patients and our communities by providing affordable, high-quality, comprehensive care and services. Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LPC, or LCSW - Floyd, VA
Tri-Area Community Health is looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor for our Floyd clinic, providing both in-person and technology-based services in the Floyd Clinic, to other Tri-Area sites, and with community partners. Applicants can be license eligible. The position is 4 to 5 days, Monday-Friday, no weekends. The staff member will provide integrated behavioral healthcare through warm hand-offs, counseling (individual, couple, family, group), and be involved in community outreach. Preference will be given to those with experience providing integrated care, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center and/or Free Clinic. The position will consist of collaboration with medical and pharmacy staff. This position also includes a heavy emphasis on substance use disorder and treatment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits along with the opportunity to apply for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. These sites are close to the Blue Ridge Parkway; and have easy access to lakes, rivers, and a variety of outdoor activities.
