Tri-Area Community Health is pleased to welcome Bethany Brintle, MA, LPC, LCMHCS, as the Director of Behavioral Health.
Bethany brings a wealth of knowledge and a patient-centered approach to Tri-Area. She is a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor and a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology from Elon University and her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University. Bethany’s career has included a variety of clinical experiences including intensive case management, behavioral health and psychosocial assessment, crisis and emergency services, outpatient treatment, assertive community treatment, and telepsychiatry. She has worked in both outpatient and hospital settings where she has supported individuals in their journey toward emotional health and wellbeing.
Bethany embraces person-centered techniques that build upon an individual’s strengths while promoting resiliency in managing live challenges. She strives to honor an open-minded and holistic treatment approach exploring a variety of therapeutic strategies for enhancing healing, recovery, and growth. She believes that every interaction is an opportunity for personal development and positive change.
