Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, or LPC in Patrick County-

Tri-Area Community Health is looking for a Licensed (or License-eligible) Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to work in collaboration with Patrick County Family Practice in Stuart, Virginia (https://www.patrickcountyfamilypractice.com/) full-time, Monday-Friday. This new position will be a Tri-Area employee who works out of a Patrick County Family Practice (PCFP) office and sees PCFP patients and Caring Hearts Free Clinic of Patrick County patients (https://www.caringheartsclinic.org/). The staff member will provide integrated care through warm hand-offs, counseling (individual, couple, family, group), and be involved in community outreach. Qualified applicants will have experience providing integrated care, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center and/or Free Clinic and will have an interest in outreach. We offer a competitive salary and benefits along with the opportunity to apply for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. We are near the Blue Ridge Parkway with lakes, rivers and a variety of outdoor activities.

Physician in Floyd-

Tri-Area Community Health (https://triareahealth.org/) is a Federally Qualified Health Center headquartered in Laurel Fork, Virginia, with locations in Ferrum, Floyd, and Laurel Fork, Virginia. We offer integrated primary medical and behavioral health care in all locations and have pharmacies in Ferrum and Laurel Fork. All three sites are National Committee for Quality Assurance-certified Patient-Centered Medical Homes and medical professionals at all sites are eligible for National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment. For almost 40 years, Tri-Area has provided care to underserved individuals in Southwest Virginia.

We are seeking a Board-certified / Board-eligible Family Medicine Physician to work 2 days a week (Wednesdays & Fridays) and join the Floyd Clinic.

This position involves providing complex direct medical care of patients, including older adults, individuals with two or more chronic medical conditions, and people experiencing difficult social determinants of health. The work is performed independently with oversight provided by the Medical Director, on site. The Physician must operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of the various contracts and grants providing for the funding of programs and projects.

Pay will be based on education and experience.

Graduation from a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or the Committee on Hospitals of the Bureau of Professional Education of the American Osteopathic Association. New graduates are welcome to apply.
